শেরেবাংলা কৃষি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ১১ ডিসেম্বর ১৯৩৮ সালে “দি বেঙ্গল এগ্রিকালচারাল ইনস্টিটিউট” নামে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়। তৎকালীন অবিভক্ত বাংলার মুখ্যমন্ত্রী শেরেবাংলা আবুল কাশেম ফজলুল হক এটি প্রতিষ্ঠা করেন। প্রতিষ্ঠানটি এই অঞ্চলের প্রথম কৃষি শিক্ষা এবং গবেষণা প্রতিষ্ঠান। ১৯৪৭ সালে এটি “পূর্ব পাকিস্তান এগ্রিকালচারাল ইনস্টিটিউট” নামধারণ করে। ১৯৭১ সালে বাংলাদেশ স্বাধীন হওয়ার পর এর নাম “...
