Dear Juniors,

Welcome to our campus family at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University!

University life is not always smooth — sometimes you may feel depressed, sometimes life feels up and down. That’s normal. Don’t keep it inside you. Make good relations with your friends and seniors.

About agricultural related subjects: at first, you may not feel passionate about them. But remember — this is your present, and this is your future foundation. Passion doesn’t always start from day one, it grows as you explore. So, try to learn with an open mind, get curious, and slowly you will feel proud to be part of this field.

Since our campus is located in the center of Dhaka, you’ll often need to move from one place to another. Be prepared and make yourself smart:

• Get a Metro Rail Card and learn the main bus routes.

• Don’t stay out too late — try to return to the hall safely at night.

At first, food and daily arrangements may feel a bit uncomfortable. But you’ll adjust with time. University life will make you stronger and more independent.
